You Are Not Alone: Day Five
“I have loved you with a love that lasts forever. I have kept on loving you with faithful love”
(Jeremiah 31:3, NIRV).
Blurb from Prayer for Freedom’s site today.
God is good and I know that He is giving each person strength and passion. Let’s continue to listen and pray, knowing that our prayers will change lives for people around the world. Today, we have a devotional full of love and compassion for children that need it most and it’s beautifully written by Lisa Crayton.
“Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit” (Psalm 147:5 NIV).
Do you ever feel isolated? Like you’re the only one drowning in confusion? Does anyone else understand what ties you down, twists your thoughts, crushes your heart?
He could have stayed in Heaven and figured out a different plan to save us. Because He’s just that smart. But He chose to come here and live as one of us. In a human body. With earthly emotions and struggles. He understands you when no one else does. No matter what happens in your life, you are never alone. Even when I can’t fathom the depths of your struggles, God can. I don’t know about you, but knowing that someone gets me, makes all the difference.
Lord, thank you for understanding Kyle even when I can’t. Thank you for never getting weary of my requests. You want us to come to You, fall at Your feet, and find what we need only in You. Today, I pray you will speak to Kyle’s heart and help him understand he is not alone. That you have walked his struggles and overcome. He can do anything through You. Thank You, mighty God.
Who are you praying for today?
